How to get over your ex in 10 steps

Getting over a break-up is actually very easy. It's as easy as 1 2 3. Here are a few tips on how to get over your ex. But first, tell yourself that you're gonna get over your ex and you're sure about it. And yes! Stop taking the break-up seriously. It's okay, man!

1. He/she is your 'ex'

Do you know what 'ex' stands for? EXAMPLE. Your ex is an example that you should never be with again. Or you can call it a EXPERIMENT on how your or his/her behavior affected the relationship and lead to the break up. Either way, REMEMBER, don't repeat your mistakes again.

2. It's all in your head

If you cry all the time by getting reminded about your ex time and again, you need to know that emotional pain lasts only for 12-15 minutes. All the other crying and sulking is self-inflicted. Basically, it's you who are causing yourself to over think about the past and cry.

3. Cry

Crying is an amazing way to let your feelings out. By crying, I don't mean crying to someone. Cry to yourself. Yes, don't try to seek sympathy from anyone. Even if it's someone very close to you. Remember, you are the only one who can get you out of this situation. Help yourself. When you decide to cry, make sure you cry and scream as much as you can for 15 minutes and promise yourself that you'll never shed another tear again.

4. Don't tell anyone

If someone asks you how it's going between you and your ex, say everything's fine. Act like nothing happened. Bring out the actor in you and start acting like nothing happened. Remember, don't try too hard to be happy or to smile. Just try to live in the moment. If you tell someone about the break-up, you're gonna be reminded about everything again and again. You can tell people about it once you get over your ex. :)

5. Cherish the memories

Always think of the times you had with your ex as good memories. Remember that you can make good memories with other people too, your friends, family, etc. Don't think about the negatives and be positive and practical. Don't hold a grudge against your ex. Just look at them and smile like everything's fine.

6. Keep yourself busy

I personally like to paint, that's how I de-stress myself. Find yours. Working out or dancing is another way to de-stress. It makes you fit and fine. And yes, you don't need to be a dancer to dance. Jumping around would just do fine haha :)

7. Work on yourself

Stop feeling sorry for yourself. The relationship had to end. Don't go back to your ex. You're not a loser. Start working your a** out and don't hesitate to pamper yourself. Go hangout with your friends. If you're a loner(not a bad thing) dress well and go out with yourself and do whatever you wanna do, like, go to a coffee shop and treat yourself with something really nice and read a nice book while eating. (sounds good, right?)

8. Don't think

Thinking too much can damage you emotionally. So what you gotta do is when you got nothing to do, lie down on the floor like a carrot and watch a movie. No. Really. See, basically, do whatever you want but act like you don't have any brains, you know that feels, bro? ;) Act like a RETARD. It's fun. ^_^

9. You're a part of a fairy tale

I always thought of myself as a girl in a movie who would always end up in the right place in life. And believe me, it helped a lot. Be the hero and the director of your own movie called LIFE :)

10. Stop waiting for your ex to come back

If it's meant to be, you'll get back together. But don't try too hard to change things. Let them go. If he/she was yours, they would come back. If not, they were never yours. If they don't come back, well you know, when one door  is closed, another one opens, if you know what I mean ;)

4 Reasons you should indulge in painting

We all look at painting in the form of a kid's homework or a great artists work. But there is one similarity in a kid's and a professional artist's traits. They have a clarity of thoughts and are pure at heart. But the truth is that you don't need to be a trained artist or a kid to paint good! Here's how and why we should paint!

1.  Eases your stress.

Painting is a way to just release out all the stress in your mind you had throughout the day. You don't need to take classes to paint well. Painting needs imagination and every active brain can imagine vivid and various things that might be either positive or negative. Hence, your heart always feels lighter after painting.

2. No more being lonely

I believe we are all an artist at heart and a paintbrush is always an artist's best friend. Once you get a grip of clearly painting down your thoughts, you'll feel no need to share your worries to express to anyone. You can express all your melancholy thoughts in painting. It's like making a confession. Just that you feel much lighter after the confession.

3. Brings you up when you're down

Dark shades are usually used for negative thoughts and the lighter shades of colors are for the happier thoughts. What you should try out is, when you're down, sit down and paint. Pull out a clean sheet of paper and grab your color kits and your brushes. Keep aside all the dark and gloomy colors and paint whatever you want with what can be called the happy colors. After you complete the painting, you'll feel 10x better, I bet!

4. Think gold

If you get good at it, then why not put it up for auctions! Basically, the buyers are some richa**people who are too lazy to paint their own paintings with their own thoughts. So what they do is that they go to exhibitions, look at all the paintings and take home the ones that match the closest to their thoughts. And for the people who don't think, they'll take home the ones that match their furniture. Either way, your paintings are gonna be bought!
